Normally we wouldn’t care how many sexual partners politicians have,
regardless of their marital status. Pol schtupping, basic science
tells us, releases stress, improves cognitive processes, and is a
vital part of the burgeoning prostitute-industrial complex.

But Newt, of course, is not just willing but downright eager to use
the sexuality and marriages of others as political fodder. From
Lewinsky to gay marriage, he’s never encountered penetration that
didn’t present him with an excuse to really screw somebody.

So there’s a special delight in learning that he once appealed to the
countercultural ideal of the “open marriage” as a pretext to toot it
and boot it.

Key parties are by definition a key demographic, so
we’re glad Newt found at least one opportunity in his life to spread
some love. Play on, playa.
